Of noble birth? Well..., look at the black bend.  The family proudly presents her Family Arms and accompanying Charter
The dark blue bend indicates the family's decendence of an illegitimate child of one of the counts of 'Heinsberg-Loon".

This charter is from May 31st 1443 to feudal lord Johan van Stockbroeck.

Different writing of the family name

The first known writing of the name is on the charter (see above) and reads Stockbroeck.
In the marriage certificate of Hubert the family name reads Stokbroex.
Some Dutch members write Stockbroekx and probably the German branch has yet another
variant. The Maastricht branch write their name as Stokbroekx but children of Pol (who
emigrated to Canada) call themselves Stockbrocks or Stockbrooks.
That's how it always starts, when you move abroad the registrars interfere.
