Son Harie (Hubertus Henricus, 11/04/1914 - 09/??/1944)

Harie was born in Maastricht. In 1936, he went as a soldier to the East Indies, today's Indonesia, then a Dutch colony.
As a prisoner of war the Japanese made him work at the Birma railway.
At the end of the war, September 1944, when transported to Japan, his ship (Fiumara) was torpedoed in the Bay of Manilla and Harie died.
